3 Awesome flavors you will love!
*Pistachio
*Mocha Creme
*Almond Creme
Lets start with answering … what is a Cannoli?
Cannoli are Italian pastries that originated on the island of Sicily, where my grandparents were born! Cannoli are tube-shaped shells, usually fried, made from a pastry dough filled with a sweet, creamy filling usually containing ricotta cheese or a more pudding like sweet blend, which is more consistent with an Americanized version of this amazing dessert!
They range in size and many are dipped in chocolate or rolled in some sort of nuts on the ends of the cookie like tube.
Most people find the best part of the Cannoli to be the sweet, creamy pudding like ricotta. And that is what we are going to make WW friendly!
In this WW recipe I created, you will get all the goodness of the inside of the cannoli, but it will be point friendly and not lack in flavor! Its also very easy requiring no cooking, no oven and not even a hand mixer! I love using these cute little Mason Jars with decorative lids to make the dessert special. I switch the lids out depending on the holiday or event! Right now I’m using my spring and Easter lids.
I will have everything linked in my store at the top of the website in my store. The jars and lids are very inexpensive so it’s super fun to change them up!
If I had to pick a favorite of these 3 amazing flavors, it would have to be the Mocha Creme. I LOVE the coffee taste that comes in behind the chocolate! Now that you have the base recipe down, play around with different flavors. I also like White Chocolate, Raspberry, and Butterscotch with a little caramel drizzle!
