Easy Weight Watchers recipe coming in at only 3 points per hearty serving! This was adapted from a recipe I found on the recipe blog #mybizzykitchen. I changed the ingredients to be a little more points friendly but maintaining all the taste!

Watch step by step as I make this simple and tasty Lasagna Soup. I only used 2 sheets of lasagna making this incredibly cost effective. Of course you can change out any psta you may like. Ive made this with a Mostaciolli noodle and even a penne noodle as well.

Ingredients
1lb96% lean ground beef
2 sheetsUncooked lasagna noodles
1chopped green pepper
2Carrots (1 chopped and 1 to grate into soup)
1tbspminced garlic
1chopped onion
1cantomato sauce
1candiced tomatoes
1tbspOlive oil
1 tbspdry basil
1 tspdry oregano
1tbspgranulated garlic
Instructions
Brown hamburger, garlic, onion and green pepper in a stock pot with a little olive oil. Add in all other ingredients to simmer about 30 minutes. Break up 2 sheets of lasagna noodles, toss in and turn the heat off. Let rest for about 15 minutes and you are ready to serve!

I thought this recipe would be soupier. Mine was really thick so I added one and a half cups of chicken broth. I added some salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. I also decided that two sheets of lasagna noodles was not enough so I increased lasagne noodles to eight and my recipe made 6 servings for 5 points a serving. That is reasonable amount of points. The flavor was really good. Thanks for the recipe.
