On WW, we can make pretty much anything out of bananas, right? Ice cream, smoothies, cakes — you name it we can find a use for our highly coveted zero point banana! But let’s be honest. Sometimes the overwhelming banana flavor and texture can get a little old. Especially the texture for me. Whn I want a cookie, especially an oatmeal cookie, I want that oatmeal texture so I feel like Im eating the full fat, full sugar, real thing! Without all the unwanted points of course!
I have tried literally 20+ WW cookie recipes using bananas and oatmeal and for me, they have all fallen flat, literally! Rubbery and mushy is not what Im looking for in a cookie! Thats why I was so happy to come up with this amazing recipe! You dont even need anything more than a fork and a bowl to get these mixed! Even my non dieting friends like them! And that is an accomplishment! These stay puffy due to the baking powder and the addition of the chocolate PB2 gives them a little extra something, something that works!
This recipe makes 12 good sized cookies that you can whip up in under a half hour. I prefer them served slightly warm so the chocolate flavor really comes through! They are even guilt free for a WW breakfast grab and go with a hot coffee on the way to work or school!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal cookies
Ingredients
- 1 C Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 smashed Bananas
- 60 Lily Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 tbsp Baking Powder
- 2 tbsp Chocolate PB2
Instructions

Hi Barrett, I don’t know how to comment on your YouTube things ??? I just wanted you to know we have the same story . I lost 40 at age 40 . I keep it off until surgery’s two years ago . I’ve joined and quite so many times including last month . Reason ???? I’m 56 and I don’t lose a pound ever !!!! My daughter is dropping weight like no bodies business ! I listen to you and WW Jen , she has started the clean eating approach. She had lost but let’s face it Keto is in our faces everywhere ! Doctor’s recommendation was to try this . I know it’s great for us but I just hate that strick eating and giving up food groups . That’s why I always loved WW but I’m not losing !!! I did keto for two weeks and lost 6 pounds . They say if you do it for a good amount of time and stop you gain and plus some !!! So I just didn’t want to go down that road … Having said that, that’s why I have been listening to you . Sense working out I’ve gotten complements on my weight loss !! I’m shrinking, toning up … I’m telling you Keto will mess you up !!! No more cooking heck you hardly need a kitchen !!!! I just hate everything about it EXCEPT THE ENERGY AND THE Inflammation is gone . So I’m watching you and WW Jen but she is in her 30’s so us 50 something’s are in a total crazy boat !!! I remember the ladies at the gym that had always been hot and in control with their bodies and weight use to tell me the 50’s are just a brick WALL !!! Last week when you said you were going to watch your carbs I thought great will see her recipes and her weigh ins …. I’m just really lost ….
